What the posted prices cover
Every price on this page comes straight from the booking page, so they always match. They are before tax. Where a job can grow, like a brake change that turns out to need rotors as well as pads, the extra parts are quoted for your car once it is on the lift, and you approve the total before anything is fitted.
Jobs that start with finding the problem, a warning light, a noise, a leak, a car that runs badly, are booked as an Inspection at $120 an hour. The call you get afterwards tells you the cause and the price to fix it.
Photos help more than you’d think
The booking form takes up to four photos. A picture of the dashboard with the warning light on, a puddle under the engine, or a tire with a bulge in the sidewall all help the shop prepare before your car arrives. Describe when it happens too: cold mornings, highway speed, turning left, going over the bumps on St. Laurent.
On the day
Bring the car to 1345 Marchand Street by 9am. Cyrville station is a four minute walk if you are carrying on by train. You get a call once the car has been looked at, and the work starts when you say yes. For anything else, see the FAQ or call the shop.
Questions people ask
Do I need an account to book?
No. You enter your name, your phone number and the car, and you get a confirmation once the booking goes through. On a phone you can scan the VIN on the driver's door frame instead of typing the year, make and model.
What if the job I need isn't on the list?
Choose Other and describe it in the notes, in your own words. If you don't know what is wrong, book an Inspection and describe the noise, the light or the smell, with photos if you can.
Are the prices on the booking page final?
The posted price is where that job starts on the booking page. Anything else your car turns out to need, like rotors or a caliper on a brake job, depends on the exact car and is quoted once it has been looked at. You hear the full price and approve it before the work starts.
What time do I bring the car in?
By 9am on the day you booked. That gives the shop the full day to look at it, order anything it needs and call you with the price.
Can I book for a Saturday?
Yes. The shop is open Saturday from 8am to 3pm, and Saturday times show up on the booking page like any other day.
Book it whenever suits you
