Prices on the wall, not in the fine print
The everyday jobs have a posted price, the same one you see on the booking page. A full synthetic oil change starts at $99. A brake change starts at $180 and depends on the vehicle. Swapping a set of tires that are already on rims is $75, and mounting and balancing tires onto your rims is $140.
Anything that needs finding first, a warning light, a noise, a leak, is billed as inspection time at $120 an hour. Once the cause is known you get a price for the parts and the labour, and you decide.
Why people bring the hard ones here
Some of the cars that come in have already been to another garage. A van that suddenly drank twice the fuel, a part nobody could source, a fault that only shows up on cold mornings. Those get the same treatment as an oil change: questions first, testing second, and a straight answer about what it will take.
Book online at any hour, or call (613) 741-9696. The full list is on the services page.

What customers have told us
Stories people sent in about their cars. Salim's name comes up a lot. The shop is rated 4.9 on Google.
I have known Salim for now more than 5 years and he is the only mechanic I have always taken my car to since I moved to Ottawa. When the car is with him I am worry free and I know he would fix all the issues, even the ones I don't know about.
Fahad
I had a trusty, honest mechanic in Peterborough for 35 years. When I came here a year ago, I searched high and low for the same thing until I stumbled on Salim. I will stick with Sal for 35 years too.
Al Wilkinson
I am very impressed with the service I received from Salim. Very honest, fast, and efficient. He took the time to ensure that I was well informed and was very friendly. Good prices also.
