Electrical System
When cars were first developed, they were
relatively simple machines. The electrical system consisted of a
battery, a starter, and an alternator.
As the automobile's electrical systems have become more advanced, evolving
to include computer-controls, sensors and other components, diagnosing
and repairing your vehicle has become much more complicated.
The electrical systems require professional care. While most people know
that when a car's “check engine” light comes on they should call the
mechanic, few car owners realize that they should have their car’s
entire charging and starting system checked every two years. Malfunction
or failure of any of the various electrical system components can hinder
performance, reduce fuel efficiency, or even cause a car fire.
